Jane is passionate about security and over the past decade has led teams building market-leading products in Data Loss Prevention, Network and Endpoint security. Most recently, Jane led the email product portfolio as the VP of Engineering and Product Management at Symantec. Earlier in her career, Jane held various engineering roles at enterprise technology companies, earning several patents. Jane holds a BS from the University of London.

Patrick Coughlin is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of TruSTAR, an intelligence management platform that transforms security intelligence for actionable automation in security operations. Before founding TruSTAR, Patrick led counterrorism and cyber security initiatives at Good Harbor International and Booz Allen Hamilton, serving US and allied governments as well as private sector clients in the US and EMEA. Patrick started his career in security and intelligence for a global risk management company in Afghanistan. Patrick studied the intersection of risk & technology at the Georgetown Walsh School of Foreign Service, St Andrews University School of International Studies, and Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Partner, Krebs Stamos Group and Former Director of the Department of Homeland Security’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA)

Before serving as CISA Director, Mr. Krebs served in various roles at the Department of Homeland Security, responsible for a range of cybersecurity, critical infrastructure and national resilience issues. Prior to his time at DHS, he directed U.S. cybersecurity policy for Microsoft, and advised industry and government clients on complex cybersecurity and business risk matters, while serving at positions with Obsidian Analysis and Dutko Consulting. He also served in the George W. Bush Administration, advising DHS leadership on domestic and international risk management and public-private partnership initiatives. Mr. Krebs holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences from the University of Virginia and a J.D. from the Antonin Scalia Law School at George Mason University

Yassir Abousselham is the Chief Information Security Officer at Splunk. In this capacity, he oversees the delivery of the cyber security mandate across the organization and supports Splunk customers in bringing data to every question, decision and action within their security programs. Prior to Splunk, Yassir served as Chief Information Security Officer at Okta where he managed the Information Security function and chaired investments to position Okta as a leading security company. Before Okta, Yassir acted as the Chief Information Security Officer for SoFi, in addition to holding various security leadership roles at Google and EY. Yassir is also an active member in the cybersecurity industry, from co-chairing the San Francisco Evanta CISO Summit, to acting as an advisor to cybersecurity startups. Yassir also holds two U.S. patents in trusted network communication.

James Brodsky, AVP Global Security Strategists, has been at Splunk for 8 years, most of them dedicated to Splunk's security business. He is a constant presence at Splunk security events such as SplunkLive and .conf, and has presented multiple sessions at those events, often leading innovative hands-on sessions that provide reference material for years afterward. In his current role at Splunk, he leads a team of security domain practitioners, helping our customers with their most interesting security challenges, enabling our security field teams, and bringing the world the famous Boss of the SOC Blue Team CTF competition.

Vikram serves as the US Cloud Security leader for the Cyber & Strategic Risk practice of Deloitte Risk & Financial Advisory. He has more than 20 years of experience in design and implementation of cybersecurity solutions and cyber risk management programs. Vikram’s areas of specialty include application security, cloud security, identity and access management, and cyber threat and vulnerability management. He has extensive experience helping technical and business organizations achieve strategic and tactical objectives.

Distinguished Strategist, Splunk

Ryan Kovar, with over 20 years of experience cybering, has done everything from pulling miles of CAT5 cable on an aircraft carrier to learning that he didn't want to be a malware RE. Most recently, he worked at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) on a team dedicated to detecting and mitigating advanced threats. Kovar then moved to Splunk as a Distinguished Security Strategist where he teaches hunting, attempts practical security research, and solves fun problems for folks around the world. Kovar loves Bernese mountain dogs and wire data, and despises printers.
