Philippe Langlois leads the Security Threat Monitoring team at Ubisoft Montreal. He joined Ubisoft 10 years ago as a system administrator. In 2012, he was recruited as a security analyst, and assigned to the task of leading the team since 2014. He is a certified GIAC specialist, with GCWN and GCIA certifications.
Philippe and his team are in charge of detecting and preventing a wide range of attacks against Ubisoft, from advanced malware to SQL injections attacks. With the help solutions like Splunk Enterprise Security (SIEM), he is leading his team throughout the security incidents investigations, containment and mitigations, risk management, security vulnerability assessments, gap analysis, detection capability evolution, as well as many challenging projects. After 17 years in IT and security, he is focusing on the technical security analyst part and the projects and team management aspects of his career.
Joel Fulton joined Splunk in May 2017. He is responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring a strategic, comprehensive enterprise security and risk management program to ensure the integrity, confidentiality and availability of information owned, controlled or processed by Splunk. Before Splunk, Joel led a security consulting practice for ten years before building and leading security and risk management teams at Starbucks, Boeing, Google, and Symantec.
