John Dominguez is a product marketer in the Security Markets Group at Splunk. With over 8 years experience in the networking and security industry, John is currently focused on the Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) marketplace. In his role, John is responsible for messaging and positioning, marketing strategy, content creation, and product evangelism for Splunk Phantom and Splunk Mission Control. In previous roles, he marketed Next-Generation Firewall and Endpoint Detection & Response platforms. John has an MBA in Marketing and Strategy from the University of Michigan, and a BA in Economics and Government from Dartmouth College.

I have worked in the cyber security industry for 35 years. I spent 30 years at Symantec working on products that focused on enterprise security. Most of my focus was on threat hunting, analytics, and forensics. I joined Splunk as a PM that is focused on SOAR, UEBA and cloud security.
