Join us for the Splunk Observability Week 2023

2022 was the year of resilience. The pandemic shook IT to its core and as a result, 2022 was also a year of changes. Microservices, serverless and other cloud-native technologies have left the labs or your digital factory to go into production and deployed on your critical services. Observability is no longer a buzzword but a reality that ensures that your systems are functioning correctly and help diagnose and fix problems in near real time. It is often achieved through a combination of monitoring, logging, and tracing.

Join us for our EMEA wide Observability week where we will provide insight and knowledge into Splunk's Observability portfolio, 2023's key technology trends and quick demos on how Observability can help you enhance your customer experience, provide resilience to your hybrid environments from your on-prem systems to your containers in the cloud(s).

The week will feature key topics across thought leadership, innovation, solutions, also allowing you to get hands-on in our capture-the-flag contest, Boss of the Operations & Observability (BOO). Join us for 1, a few or all the sessions across the week and delve further into Observability fluency as the antidote for the evolution to hybrid and multicloud infrastructures.

All sessions will be hosted on Zoom so you can attend from the comfort of your desk, all you need to do is register for the day/s you would like to attend and in return you'll be sent a confirmation email with joining links for each session. We also plan to bring BOO to an EMEA city near you, so join us in person in addition to the virtual attendee option.

Please add events@splunk.com to your email safe list so you receive all the Zoom links and reminders ahead of the session.

For any questions, please reach out to one of the team at emea-events@splunk.com.

11:00 Why Synthetic Monitoring, a Decade Year Old Technology, is the Key to your Future Digital Success?

Why Synthetic Monitoring, a Decade Year Old Technology, is the Key to your Future Digital Success?

Time: 11:00 - 11:25
Length: 25 Minutes
Location: Virtual

Description: Why revive the T-Rex of monitoring?

Deloitte found that a 0.1 second improvement on mobile site speed resulted in an 8.4% increase in retail conversions and 9.2% increase in average order value. Google also confirmed that more than 50% of customers leave a page if they wait more than 3 seconds. The “new” customer has higher expectations in terms of speed and availability. And if you don’t provide them, your Google Core Web Vitals score will be impacted ruining your business and marketing efforts (and budget) to attract customers. In a world of Cloudification, the infrastructure, network are now beyond your direct control: thus, IT monitoring starts by the end now: the Digital Experience Monitoring (DEM). In this session you’ll learn how Synthetic monitoring evolved beyond being an engineering tool, monitoring uptime and speed, to deliver assisted remediation and optimisation to your designers, developers, ops, marketeers, and more.
